The brief

Mars Australia engaged Inscape to design its new Sydney office at 100 Pacific Highway in North Sydney, with a brief to create an inviting space true to the brand where the team could work collaboratively and enjoy the many activities that are part of how Mars operates.

How it was delivered

The design expressed Mars's Five Principles through the space while showcasing the product range itself, and built the floor around a wholesome commercial kitchen the Sydney team uses daily — supported by enclosed meeting rooms, workstations, writable walls, a reception area, an executive boardroom and a breakout kitchen area, all finished in a deliberately fresh palette with pops of the global brand's colors.

Why it matters to a US rollout

Expressing a global consumer brand's identity through physical space — its principles, its products, its color language — is the core skill of retail-environment delivery, and it is the same skill whether the space is a Sydney office for Mars or a fleet of US stores for a brand entering the market for the first time.

This project was delivered in Australia by the Inscape group, the established commercial construction group behind Inscape Retail Projects.
